Camden Gray Instagram – // Appreciation Post for my twin sister💗!! I have to say I loved our childhood together more than anything. I’ll be honest: I can’t remember if we were friends. Just kidding, I remember the Fort Club, movie making, vampire-werewolf turning, sumo wrestling with giant pillows, and all the other weird kid things we used to do. I know you probably don’t remember because you pretty much have the memory of an eggplant. We were definitely friends though, in case you forgot. You were my best friend. It’s probably the earliest age I can most vividly remember feeling love. You were a delicate, little nugget being so much smaller than my “alpha self”. I’m also really sorry for that time you bailed on your bike during triathlon practice and I video taped you screaming when dad poured the alcohol on your leg. I’m also really sorry for bringing it up right now. If it helps, I forgive you for kicking me out of the band. I feel like I should also address our middle school phase. I was a real bully, and you just kind of took it making it easy for me. Like that time I punched you in the stomach, nearly knocking the wind out of you, and you didn’t even tell Mom and Dad…sister of the year award for that one. Now that the sappy apologies are over, i guess it’s time to thank you. You kept me out of trouble, as best as you could, even when I was looking for it. I think that’s when I truly started to realize I wasn’t really the alpha anymore. I think I needed you more than you needed me. You were in all honors classes while I struggled to push myself. You walked right into my group of friends, and everyone loved you for your scarily weird self. Once high school hit we drifted apart. You had your life and I had mine. We’d do the occasional text or phone call but it was never the same. That day after all these years you asked me to hang out and God i was so happy.
