Carl Lentz Instagram – Years ago, many people were even more defensive and unaware of deep racial disparities and even the conversation being had was controversial…The difference I see right now and why I have hope, is that far more people are listening, open and willing to consider another’s experience. It matters so much. For instance, I have almost never had a single bad experience w/ a police officer. That heavily shapes how I feel about the entire police system. But if that is the only experience I’m willing to listen to, I’m not only foolish. I’m selfish.
