Christopher Lowell Instagram – Our last night in the bus.
The following day, in western Iowa, the bus broke down for the fourth and final time. We were at a trailer park with no shade and no bathroom-access and it was 97 degrees outside and Kerry was in awful shape. Couldn’t even keep down crackers or oatmeal. I jumped in the bus to go buy Gatorade and ginger chews and anything else I could think of from a nearby CVS, but when I put the key in the ignition the engine just would. not. start…
