Sergeant Alksandr HY”D DIED A HERO: The IDF has announced the death of Sergeant Aleksandr Iakiminskyi HY”D, 19, from Nahariya, a driver in the 71st Battalion, 188th Brigade. He was fatally wounded during a stabbing attack at the Karmiel mall. Despite being mortally injured, Sergeant Iakiminskyi displayed heroic efforts, managing to neutralize the terrorist who cowardly attacked him from behind, thereby preventing further harm to civilians in the crowded mall.

21-year-old Cpt. Elay Elisha Lugasi a team commander in the 7th Armored Brigade’s 75th Battalion, from Kiryat Shmona.
Three other soldiers were severely wounded in the incident which killed Lugasi.
