Each of the police officers is armed with a handgun while the terrorists are facing them with machine guns, grenades, and RPGs. The six police officers know it’s a lost cause, and there’s no chance they’ll get out of there alive, but they’re alert and ready. They stood as a wall with thousands of young people behind them that they had to protect.
Those six officers fell; at that point, none of them had bullets left in their guns. They fought to the end, saving many lives during this time.
This picture means it all. The heroism of the police officers, the war of the few against the many, the courage, the Israeli spirit, the sacrifice.
