羽生さんのパフォーマンスを目の前で見ることができて感動しました。
同時に、自分が日本で活動を始めた頃のきっかけを思い出しました。
2011年3月11日の東日本大震災で多くの方の人生が大きく変わってしまった。
あれから羽生選手が世界チャンピオンとして活躍されるようになり、スケート界や日本を象徴する存在になってゆく姿を、僕は同じ日本の東北地方に所縁ある者としてずっと応援していました。
羽生さんの功績は、僕を含む多くの人々の希望になっています。
これからのご活躍も大変楽しみにしています⛸️
Our lives changed drastically when The Great East Japan Earthquake devastated Japan. Since then, he has become (amongst other things) an olympic champion and a world champion.
An icon within Ice Skating and Japan, your achievements and philanthropic contributions has been an inspiration to me and many others.
