Dean Lewis Instagram – I was supposed to release this song 9 months ago but i hesitated releasing it… i wrote it about how i was so focused on following my dreams and other things that i didnt realise i had the girl of my dreams right infront of me. I just didnt know it then. I always have been caught in this trap of looking ahead and thinking “ill be happy when i get there” and that in life, this greener grass will always appear. I realise now thats not always the case. Now its so difficult to even know real motivations, or to trust. So i wrote this song wishing i could go back to that place.
