Earlier this year, I received a beautiful addition to my back tattoo from my friend, Gray. While cutting out the stencils for the tattoo, I was inspired to create a headpiece. Shoutout to @especimengris @especimenscythe for designing this headpiece for me. Everything you see, minus the garment, was made from EVA foam. I took the headpiece and deconstructed it to make a belt, choker, and panel down the front of my costume. I hand sculpted the eyes out of EVA Foam Clay. The wings were purchased, but painted/aged by me. I cannot express how much fun it was to take a design from my friend and bring it to life in this way. Collaborating as artists can be so rewarding.
