Dua Saleh (@doitlikedua) is a poet, actor, and Sudanese soul. From protests in high school to poetry and music, Saleh’s journey infuses the Sudanese spirit into every note. Their art reflects the struggle and joy of their heritage. As Dua says, “I think that protest is in the spirit of Sudan. It’s a belief that a lot of our people hold, largely because we have had to deal with governments discriminating against marginalized people.” With each role, Dua champions representation while yearning for more Sudanese voices in the spotlight.
