Fabio Grangeon Instagram – Morning walk around @weiwuying_centerforthearts where we are performing today.
This is the largest single-roof integrated performing arts center in the world, designed by Dutch architects Mecanoo.
I’ve read it’s inspired by the sinuous canopy created by clusters of banyan tree, common in the region. To me it felt like a very futuristic and fluid architecture, where space and structure combined in a seamless flow.
