Gary Numan Instagram – Today I was walking along Shaftesbury Avenue (yes, we’re STILL in London) trying to see if the guitar shop I was aiming for when I had my underground ghost encounter in 1974 was still there. It was not. But then I remembered that the next street along, Gerrard Street, was where I made the ‘Replicas’ album a few years later, in the cellar of number 19 under what was, at that time, a dentist.
