A feature debut for its director, made in-between pandemic lockdowns and only on 3 million EUR budget, the film boasts incredible set design and VFX, proving Sci-Fi projects can be made in Austria, not just Hollywood: the space station was developed by Johannes Mücke @johannesmuecke (#IndependenceDay, #Moonfall) and built in Vienna; the VFX were created by Vienna’s arx anima studio. It also went against the stereotypical grain of Sci-Fi with many women in key roles, in addition to the director and the lead: co-author Jessica Lind, junior producer Livia Graf and producer Loredana Rehekampff.
