We are preparing for a Pakohe exhibition held at the Nelson Museum around the 22nd of June curated by @hamuera89 All my pieces including this piece is for sale. Maori quickly adapted to new resources like pakohe and pounamu and began to develop new forms similar to this piece. The name of this piece is called Poho Ariki as these pieces were originally only worn by highborns or chiefly rangatira.
