Idris Elba Instagram – Young people deserve to grow up. As a parent, it’s worrying that our society has strayed away from this as a core value. Tonight at @glastofest , we celebrated the next wave of young talent, @romayathegoat joined me on stage and delivered a performance with a message which I hope inspired our audience to take action. Collectively, we CAN make a difference but it starts with US.
Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible initiatives like the @benkinsellatrust @immediatetheatre @steelwarriors @justiceforronankanda and @fcbattersea, as well as community heroes like @faz.amensty @yum_yum301 @dwaynamicdsf to drive real change for our young people who are currently facing a knife crime epidemic. Don’t Stop Your Future was not only intended to protect young people from the dangers they face but to provide opportunity, prosperity and hope and tonight we did that 👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿
