Jason Oppenheim Instagram – It is a such an honor to receive the Forefront Award on behalf of @foodonfootla, an organization that has been so tremendously important to me since I first volunteered more than 14 years ago. Our event last night raised more than $200,000! The program has done an immeasurable service for the homeless and working poor in our LA community, providing food, clothing, and eventually an apartment and employment to so many, but more importantly a second chance for those willing to do the hard work to help themselves but who just needed someone to believe in them and provide them a helping hand.
