The recipe is from @food52. Link in bio. But here’s the gist.
get strips of 6 large basil leaves
1/2 ounce simple
Juice from a whole lime
Grated zest from half a lime
Muddle it up in a shaker, let infuse for 5 minutes.
Then add 2.5 ounces of vodka.
Add ice, shake, double strain into a chilled, stemmed cocktail glass.
Garnish with basil.
The original recipe says gin also works great in this. Must try.
