During a private dinner before the screening of the Tony-nominated Broadway play, Purlie Victorious, Bryan Stevenson,the founder and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative, surprised me by honoring me with the Champion of Justice Award. I am so very grateful and proud. 🙏🏽
