I used to feel guilty when setting boundaries and used to fear losing people. This caused people to walk all over me, take advantage of me and take me for granted. Nope. Not more! Kinda funny when people get upset for standing up for yourself. The lil girl in me is so proud of how far I’ve come. The reason my circle of is so tiny, is because I’ve lost “friends” due to respecting myself enough to communicate and set clear boundaries. Thursday night in Miami at @vouschurch for prayer night. I flew into Colombia for the day and will be heading back to Ecuador E tonight. My love for God and my faith has been instilled with me since I was little girl. I talk to God everyday. He’s removed ppl from my life when I couldn’t walk away. He’s been there with me when I felt alone and lost. He saved me many times from others and myself. He’s loved me unconditionally and understands me for who I am. My moma captured this moment🥹✨ Yesterday, while in Guayaquil 🇪🇨 as my family & I were walking into a restaurant. I heard my name called out & to my surprise a lovely young woman got up from her table, politely asked if she could talk a photo w me. My heart filled w humility said “ OF COURSE!” She introduced me to her family & also asked if I could take a photo w her daughter. my heart melted 🥹🫂 As we said our goodbyes she said, “Keep inspiring people w your content.” I was so moved my eyes teared up. 🥹🫶🏽 Two weeks ago at my nieces bday something similar happened while I was talking to parents at the party. I was deeply touched. 🥹 If I’m goin go to be honest sometimes I struggle with using my voice due to the negative backlash I get. I’m human , it hurts. Especially when comes from ppl who claim to love you. I at times hear the voices of my X’s, my childhood buillies: “your not special, “your content is cringe,” “your a nobody.” I fight those demons regularly. Lately, I been praying to God to give me a sign wondering if I’m moving with purpose. These two encounters couldn’t be any louder & clearer. 🙏🏽✨💕 Praise God!
