Jimmy Akingbola Instagram – A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of hosting an episode of the You Can Adopt podcast.
In the episode, I spoke to Sarah, a foster carer and chair of the Camden Association for Foster Carers. She has played an instrumental role in the creation and distribution of Replenish Boxes – which were created to ensure that Black children will be able to access the right products for their hair and skin.
This is something I’m really passionate about, after my own experiences in foster care, which I explored in my recent documentary – particularly around themes of identity, the importance of role models, and cultural connection.
