Joe Russo Instagram – Big news from @slamdancegroup — they’re moving to Los Angeles! It feels like just yesterday when we attended our first Slamdance Festival back in January 1997. Our debut film, ‘Pieces,’ not only premiered there but also led us to meet our mentor, Steven Soderbergh. Slamdance has been a cornerstone in our lives, providing unending opportunities to both emerging and established filmmakers. With its relocation to Los Angeles, Slamdance will open doors for even more artists and audiences, continuing to be a beacon for independent voices. We are incredibly excited about this move and can’t wait to see the new heights Slamdance will reach in its new home.
