John Ross Bowie Instagram – #NoValues Festival. A fun time – but I have notes. However, let’s stress the positive:
1) @tsol_official -something about this band makes me wanna jump up on stage and try to kiss the lead singer. If you get this reference, congratulations, you also had difficulty making friends in high school.
2) the rebirth of a new @officialhepcat – with natural frontman @alexdesertwashere taking the reins
3) @deadmilkmenofficial had a great set and did the coolest thing – they deliberately closed with a sort of deep cut off their second album, so that if people wanted, they could leave early and go check out the damned. “Punk is about good manners”- Joe Strummer
3) @the_dickies_official – one stop shopping for gorgeous hooks and funny shtick
4) rebirth of a new @fishbonesoldier – the new guys looked understandably psyched that they were in Fishbone.
5) @mostfunsam providing info and narcan with @end.overdose
6) @rodneylinderman and I discussed horror movies
7) @deansabatino and I discussed everything else and
8) best for last – if you don’t do a punk festival with @jordandavidmorris, you’re doing it wrong. You’ll find him right in front of the soundboard, because he’s no idiot.
