Jordan Watson Instagram – BULA! Our 5 days in Fiji were bloody brilliant. 3 hour flight from New Zealand and then BAM, 28 degrees of bliss.
Our first night was in the more upmarket Denarau area and we stayed at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort. This place is FLASH! Heaps of swimming pool options and an insane buffet and shops etc really close.
We then went off the mainland for a more classic Fiji style resort on the island of Malolo. We stayed at the Fijian owned and operated Malolo Island Resort, our highlight? The people. Seriously, they felt like family. Everyone had a smile on the dial and wanted to make sure you were having the best time. The kids all teared up when we had to leave. The ‘Kids Club’ staff go above and beyond, the snorkelling straight off the beach is nuts, the pool, cocktail thingy’s and food make you wonder how an island in the middle of nowhere can produce such high quality goods. Heaps to see and do and unbelievable views.
I know the kids will remember this trip for a loooong time. Thanks for having us Fiji.
