*Long Post ahead:
I truly want to show the world that I can do it all.
I’m aware that I am in WWE. And no, this isn’t me taking my focus away from that. I always loved music and to show the world that I am an entertainer. Everyone has been asking me for months, what do you want for your birthday? And I just wanted to make music. I recorded this whole project this week. (being the only time I had.) With my daughter’s Hello Kitty headphones, a MacBook, & a Shure microphone. (The same one Michael Jackson used to record Thriller.) All recorded in my guest room’s closet in my home. 😂 I did this entire project from arranging, uploading, and editing all myself, with no label.
I been writing & doing music since I was in middle school. My mother put me in Piano lessons when I was a kid, and a childhood experience made me start writing. I used to be up to 4am recording in my parent’s office room. The early days of using Fruity Loops, posting my music on MySpace. I listened to @common , @constv, Kanye West, BlackStar, Stones Throw, Slum Village, and a host of others got me through, & I always wanted to write, produce, collaborate and make my own music or a larger scale. And I did!
I Wanted to thank, @constv @ajfrancis410 @touremasters @caiden817 for their features. Never thought that one day I would be doing a song with someone that I listened to growing up. God is truly special. Always follow your dreams, no matter how big, crazy, or stupid it sounds. To my wife for always listening. She truly is the best. My beautiful kids, for being my why in everything, the “silly dillies.” Scottzilla, Bailey & myself (I do beats too 😂) for the beats & production. Beats are essential, and the best ones take TIME. (Editing & uploading this was fun & a lot of work for 3 days.)
This Album strictly for entertainment. A “concept” album. Have fun and don’t take anything serious. 😂 An album about bringing in another birthday, SLEEP.
