So, two dates into our Summer Road Trip with our buddies in @Train, and both bands are firing on all cylinders! This production is beyond anything we have ever put on, tour morale is high, and Patrick Monahan and I are working on a surprise for the audience, (which may be ready as soon as tonight!) For those of you who missed the REO Fourth of July performance from Milwaukee’s Summerfest, here is a glimpse of what you can expect from us on this summer tour. Bruce told me he would love to be out here, but we both agreed that his health and recovery need to come first.
Meanwhile, Train has so many great songs, and you will recognize them all when you hear them. The band performs expertly, their show is full of fun, and Patrick’s voice needs to be experienced live to be believed … he is quite simply an amazing singer! Each band does a seventy-five minute, full stage and production, co-headline set. And both bands are playing all the hits! We agreed to take the middle slot, (or as we call it, the sweet spot) every night, as that suits us best. Train does a great job closing the show, and I just might be popping up during their set! We hope to see you all as our Summer Road Trip comes through your town.
