Yall my right arm can bend!! 😜 Yall remember when I used that robotic-like machine on my legs called the HAL? WELL we tried it on my right arm and baby it was everything! 🦾 🙌 I’ve never worked on my arms during physical therapy so to see my arm bend at my elbow on its own (with assistance from the device) is very exciting to experience. And to try something that could potentially bring back the strength in my right arm is worth trying out. It’s going to take some time to see any significant progress, but baby I will keep yall updated 💛 Shoutout to @risehealthcaregroup or having this device!

Adaptive Fashion for people with disabilities is hard to come by. BUT accessible and universally designed fashion is way more frequent if you know how to look for what your body needs. And I found these looks on Amazon and was excited at how cute and accessible they were as a wheelchair user. The @fentyhair launch party was everything! but my favorite part (outside of meeting @badgalriri ✨🤩) was learning that the packaging was designed for people with disabilities in mind!!!! For the blind and visually impaired making the packaging easy open to use. And they didn’t even have to compromise on their aesthetic or make something separate from their core products. Because they know that disabled people ARE consumers too. Truly a big win in true inclusivity. Looove @fentyhair so much for this!

Listen @fentybeauty knows how to throw an event! Me and my sis @ginthereal had a blast! The foundation was incredible and is now a new favorite. And NO we didn’t get to see Riri in the flesh because it was getting late, I was cramping bad and had to get home. I can feel myself changing for the better and I’m so grateful for the journey. What I had to go through was TOUGH but I made it and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. Every day is still a journey but this time it’s of discovery of self and not what other people want me to be or who I made myself to be out of fear. It’s such an interesting time but I’m happy 😄 Like…I met Rihanna 🤣
