As a result of the attacks, BlueCheck Ukraine’s vetted partners estimate that 30,000 – 80,000 Ukrainians, many elderly, will be displaced from their homes.
As Uber said in a statement: “We’re grateful for this opportunity to continue our support for BlueCheck. Uber operates on the ground in 18 cities across Ukraine, so we understand the unique value of BlueCheck’s highly localized and extremely agile humanitarian relief efforts.”
BlueCheck’s Ukrainian partners are on the front lines right now, helping communities in ways that are otherwise overlooked or unknown to international funders. All they need are the resources.
