Liev Schreiber Instagram – BlueCheck partner @spivdiia offers psycho-emotional support to children and adults.In one course for children 5-17, the organization conducts educational programs designed to help participants build emotional resilience and work through challenges.
In March, they served 382 children, 23% of whom were internally displaced (#IDPs) including a 12-year-old girl named Anya.
While attending the program, Anya learned of a devastating attack on her hometown of Zaporizhzhia. Due to safety concerns, Anya and her mother had to cancel their plans to reunite with Anya’s father.
Although nothing can eliminate the grief and fear entirely, groups like SpivDiia offer a helpful outlet for the emotional weight #Ukrainians carry.
