🌋 I’m an Adventure Travel Host of Fearless & Far on YouTube (2.7M Subs), the Against the Odds Podcast (search it!), and of many TV shows. Mainly “Uncharted Adventure” where I received a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Daytime Host.
🤢 Weirdest Food: In The Philippines they smoke pork for ceremonies. It becomes infested with insects. You eat the meat, maggots and all. I had it at a 4 year old’s bday party and had diarrhea for 10 days.
🌎 Favourite Travel Moment: Finding a real-life crystal skull in the “Black Hole” of Belize. A Mayan sacrifice from 1000 years ago.
⚠️ Most Danger: Camping at Satan’s Castle in Turkey. 4 Men came at midnight and shot AK47s at me. Despite this, I still firmly believe the world is kind.
🗣️Public Speaking: I’m not a “natural” on camera. That sh*t took so much work. I consider the Emmy as the universe proving my message: Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.
👆🏻 Biggest Lesson: Your fear is a liar, a bully, and a thief. It knows exactly how to deceive you. It will push you around, and steal everything you could become. Most run from it, the great walk towards it. You must use it as your compass.
📝 Something I’d tell myself at 20: Have weird hobbies. Curiosity is the most powerful force on earth. Follow whatever excites you. Don’t let that fire burn out. The choice might not make sense, but looking back, The breakdancing classes, the SCUBA lessons, the pet tarantulas, all came together in a strange and spectacular way to create this wild life. Looking backwards, the dots always connect.
✈️ Next Expedition: Nigeria, Benin, and Cameroon in August. Voodoo, Pygmy Tribes, Nigerian bare knuckle boxing…. Better get training. 😰
