Mike Escamilla Instagram – 31 years ago this summer in 1993 in OKC, I had just turned 16 and this contest changed my life… I drove halfway across country with a bunch of guys called the POW’s, which stood for pros of Westminster. 7 or 8 guys in a minivan with all our gear and bikes inside, it was a tight fit. We slept under and on the ramps for a couple weeks before the contest with a few nights of hotels… ultimately being a few weeks that would shape the next 30 years.
