Follow along as I make a raised vegetable garden using Wild Hog Products 6ga panels and track system for the trellis feature. I did this without mitering any edges, so it’s a great project if you don’t have a ton of tools or time. Here’s what I used: – 4 x 6 Douglas fir**, cut to the length and width I needed. I stacked mine 3 high, but you can choose how tall you want yours! – 2 x 4 cedar to frame out the panels for the trellis. I added a gap detail that is completely optional. – two 6ga panels. I cut mine down to be a few inches shorter and flush with the top of my wall- yes, you can cut down these panels! – two set of tracks. Check out my last video to see how easy these are to install – 6” galvanized lug *screws- these are great, because you’ll really only need one per side on your box. You will need to pre-drill a pilot hole first. – 3” wood screws to fasten the three boxes and the frame Here are some things to remember: – level on each step! With loose dirt it is easy to get knocked off your level. – you can use any compostable material to fill up the box, but if you choose cardboard make sure it’s not painted or printed and you remove all the tape. You don’t want any plastic near your veggies – no liner is necessary with this- the wood is large and heavy enough to keep everything in just fine – keep your plant tags or make your own. We kept ours for now and might make some down the road.

Do you have a summer wedding coming up? If so, these table tents/place-cards are a super easy and affordable way to add greenery into your wedding. I used a rock and stick I found outside, some sheet moss and succulents to create the base for my name card. Using a little hot glue I was able to secure the plants and moss to the rock.
