As a child, I loved watching Cải lương and Hát Bội. Its vibrant colors and dynamic performances were the epitome of Vietnamese theater, filling my queer heart with joy. For the finale, I wanted to embody the essence of what I’ve always cherished. Every detail and flourish in my performance tells a story of tradition meeting fantasy, seamlessly blending the past with the present. 🌸 • Cảm tạ @vickivirus for designing this work of art for me from head to toe, with months of 3D sculpting and embroidery.
