Today is about so much more than the result. Yes it would be incredible if @Arsenal got that miracle, but regardless of what happens we’ve got our club back. Remember those tough years when the men wearing the shirt felt a million miles away… but remember when they didn’t? Remember in 2002 when Arsenal became the first English team to field NINE black players? If you grew up local like me, you’ll know just how much this club has always embraced the community and no matter how big things got, it always felt like ours. In 2011, the club gave me my own banner flying at the stadium for the season and I still can’t believe it. Remember how much it meant to watch the open top bus go down upper street and islington covered in red and white? Remember @wrightyofficial hitting the Bogel when he scored? This club has always embraced us. Through its players and its understanding of culture. This is about so much more than silverware… Remember just how young this team are and how much they are undeniably closer to us as fans than we’ve seen our team be in years. Remember the kits they laughed at and now they call them classics? If you remember the feeling, you’ll know it’s happening again… We have our club back with or without today going our way. So let’s enjoy whatever it is the future holds. This line up will be with us for a while and I’m here for every minute of it. #COYG.
