Rhys Nicholson Instagram – THU 13/06: Dip your well-dressed toe into a night of disco, fabulous fashion, and left-of-field jokes at the Supper Club, featuring the unparalleled glamour of TANZER, the audacious antics of Don’t Thank Me Spank Me, and the comedic stylings of Michael Hing.
TANZER, with her roots in Sydney and soul in Rome, spins a blend of culture-clash disco, otherworldly vocals, and all out glamour. There’s a reason she’s a fixture at some of the globe’s most exclusive parties – come discover why (if you don’t already know).
Also catch the duo with arguably the best name ever, Don’t Thank Me Spank Me. Their raw, guitar-heavy sound merges the rebellious spirit of the Runaways with the pop sensibility of Britney Spears. Their live show is a fusion of 80s bangers, garage-girl-group harmonies, and unapologetic attitude.
Rounding out the good vibes is Michael Hing, a comedian, actor, and self-described “terrible party guest”. Formerly of triple j Drive fame and now a familiar face on Channel 10’s The Project, Michael brings his stand-up comedy prowess (read: awkwardness) to the stage, ensuring an evening filled with (sometimes nervous) laughter and random insights.
So go on, join us for a fab evening of art, fashion, comedy and music at Vivid Sydney Supper Club.
Vivid Sydney Supper Club is your festival go-to for late-night cabaret at Mary’s Underground. This year comedy darling Rhys Nicholson and ARIA award winning musician Georgia Mooney have curated, quite frankly, a sparkling and sen-bloody-sational line-up of comedy, music and storytelling.
