Riccardo Simonetti Instagram – Last night I went to a screening of “Die Kaiserin” – @netflixde told me the dresscode was “dress to impress” and right now I am mostly impressed of the bravery of Iranian and Kurdish women.
I am impressed but also deeply confused and shocked of what is happening in the world right now.
I decided to wear a Shirt that says #mahsa_amini because I wanted to bring attention to her and the movement that started since she was killed. The fact that so many people (kindly, not shady) asked me if #mahsaamini was a brand, showed me that we need to talk more about her.
I am also aware that that was not her real name and she was actually Jina. But I still decided to write the other name on my shirt because I felt like more people would see and understand it 🙏🏼
