every time I get on stage I am shown just how lucky I am to do this job. I get to meet amazing people every night but tonight I got to meet @leighformn who is the first trans person elected to the state legislature in Minnesota. I‘ve followed her hard work for some time now, and to have her come to my show to feel joy and laugh? what a blessing. we both want the same things for everyone: liberation, joy, love. what a blessing this life is that we all get to share with each other. Tomorrow night is sold out @acmecomedyco but there’s still a few tickets this weekend Friday & Saturday! Tickets in bio. 💚🫶🏻🏳️⚧️

last night was really incredible. i waited to watch “outstanding” until i could see it at a screening (also because i don’t have netflix lol) and im so glad i did. @pagehurwitz and @iamwandasykes made an incredible piece of art and history. i am very honored to be a part of it. it is still difficult to hear my voice and see myself from that moment in my transition but i am so blessed to basically be the only trans man in the doc?! pretty wild. very grateful to page and wanda for putting me in this piece of history.

His first half-hour special “A Different Kind of Dude” debuted on Comedy Central’s Youtube channel and was called “a masterclass in culture war commentary” by Esquire.com. The special also garnered the title of “Some of the Best Jokes of 2022 So Far.” River recently wrote on the FX pilot “Belated,” previously wrote for “A League of Their Own,” and created/starred in/wrote the critically acclaimed and GLAAD award-nominated tv show “Take My Wife.” You may have also seen him as non-binary standup comic Lindsay Brady on “Good Trouble” and Adam Conover’s sibling on “Adam Ruins Everything” or queer dinner guest Denim in the hit movie “Friendsgiving.” He has done standup all over the country, the globe, and the screen, including Ellen, Conan, Comedy Central, and HBO.
