Rocco DiSpirito Instagram – If you’re looking for a fabulous meal in the Hamptons, I have the perfect spot for you! @roccodispirito just opened Il Pellicano on Main St in Southampton featuring craft cocktails and dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. We enjoyed a fabulous farmstand crudite with a creamy herb dip, thinly sliced Jamon Iberico, Local Bluefin Tuna Crudo and a phenomenal Shrimp Crudo featuring Royal Red Montauk shrimp. An assortment of sweet Local Tomatoes on Toast was to die for and the pasta dishes Fregola Vongole and Paccheri Pesto Rosso where fabulous fresh takes on traditional favorites (I am still dreaming about the heirloom tomato sauce on the latter!) For dessert the Chocolate Gianduja Crunch served with Chantilly cream hit the perfect balance between creamy and crunchy. The drinks, food and service were all impeccable and both the patio and dining room are a stunningly beautiful place to enjoy a meal. Chef Rocco has outdone himself with @il_pellicano_southampton and I can’t wait to return!
