Rocco DiSpirito Instagram – Another full circle moment with @paulstanleylive at the @lamag dinner last night. Growing up in the 70s, I was a huge Kiss fan. Their album ‘Love Gun’ dropped when I was just 11, but I couldn’t afford it on my $3/week allowance. When I asked my Mom for the money, she said “get a job” – something I didn’t know was an option at that age. So, I started working at a pizzeria for 50 cents an hour, and that’s when I fell in love with taking care of people. To this day, that’s what drives me in this business – making people happy through food.
Paul Stanley was my childhood idol and the true inspiration behind my restaurant journey. There’s nothing cooler than sharing my food with him and bringing him joy, just like he did for me.
