Rohan Joshi Instagram – Spent my Covid week revisiting one of the greatest trilogies of all time; the Assassins’ Creed Ezio collection. Ubisoft cooked hard with these games. Each title is more ambitious than the one that came before it, the trilogy’s story builds out beautifully, the environments are a sensory feast, and the story beats characters have real emotional heft. By the end you can also see some of the warning signs of bloat and narrative confusion the AC franchise would then grow to have, but for one brief moment in time, nothing was true, everything was permitted, and it was all perfect. | Posted on 08/Jul/2024 12:49:36
