I’m about to get real with you… One year ago I got one of the scariest phone calls I’ve ever gotten. My dad was having a heart attack. ❤️
I had a hard time believing it. He hadn’t had any serious health issues and was always so active. ❤️
Add in the fact that they were taking him to the hospital where my mom passed away 24 years earlier, and I was a wreck.

I met my brother and my dad’s partner at the hospital and saw Dad before they took him into emergency triple bypass surgery at 2AM.
❤️
I’m so grateful and fortunate that it was a complete success. That photo on the table in front of us is of him in the hospital recovering.

Fast forward a year, and you’d never know he even had a heart attack! He’s back to his active self and has been for a few months now.
❤️
This past weekend, we threw a party celebrating a full year of Dad’s good health – and many more to come. We were surrounded by our friends and family, and I’m so beyond thankful for everyone’s love and support!
