S. Dilla Thomas Instagram – Hey there! It’s a beautiful day out 🤩
Last week we spent a few hours on another beautiful day with the historian @6figga_dilla on his Chicago Mahogany tour through Englewood. We learned SO MUCH!
A city gem 💎, he had much knowledge to share with us on this two hour bus tour. We learned about the history of the neighborhood, talked about some influential and historical residents.
Things got heavy as we talked about the very really racial discrimination that has affected the residents of this community. Click through the photos to learn more.
There were also beautiful stops on the tour such as The iconic Yale and we even got to go inside and see the breathtaking atrium.
We ended the tour with a visit to @ggcfreshmarket where staff got some groceries and a few even got tasty smoothies. We love to support a local business!
