Hoje saiu uma das canções mais bonitas que gravei na vida ( talvez a mais bonita )
É uma colaboração com a @launoah57 ( a canção é dela ) que conheci na Catalunha há uma vida atrás , ela tinha 15 anos se não me engano e ambos queríamos ser o Chet Baker.
O tempo foi passando, ela mudou-se para os EUA e encontrou lá o amor de uma vida- a guitarra. Aprendeu completamente sozinha, o que a levou a descobrir caminhos só seus.
Quando de repente a reencontrei digitalmente no Tiny Desk não podia acreditar na transformação sobrenatural .
A música dela soa a campos verdes na Irlanda do século XII. Não , soa a uma autoestrada sem fim no Oeste dos EUA dos anos sessenta. Ou talvez soe a um bosque encantado no NARNIA. Soa ancestral mas intemporal . Soa tradicional mas completamente nova.
Soa a tudo isto e soa SÓ a ela.
O seu primeiro disco está prestes a sair . São só colaborações com grandes artistas e eu sinto-me imensamente honrado por ter sido chamado para cantar a canção mais bonita de todas 🙂

Today one of the most beautiful songs ( if not THE most beautiful song ) I’ve ever recorded in my life is out for the world to hear.
It’s a collab with Lau Noah ( song is hers ) who I met in Catalunya a lifetime ago. She was only 15 and we both wanted to be Chet Baker.
Time flew by, she moved to NY and there she found a lifetime love – the guitar . She learned all by herself , which led her to find her own ways and solutions .
When I finally “saw” her again in Tiny Desk I was utterly amazed by her supernatural transformation.
Her music sounds like the green fields in XII century’s Ireland . No, it sounds like a never ending road in the west of 60’s USA . Or maybe it sounds like the enchanted woods of NARNIA.
It sounds ancestral but timeless. It sounds traditional but completely new .
It sounds like all of this and it sounds like her and ONLY her.
