Steve Cardenas Instagram – Saying goodbye today. My mother Doris Judy Cardenas died of kidney failure. She was an amazing woman. She had 7 children. She was single mother who worked 3 jobs to always make sure our pantry was full and a roof over our heads. We didn’t have money growing up but my mother always made sure we had TONS of Christmas presents under the tree every year. To this day I still don’t know how she did all the things she did. When I was younger i didn’t appreciate all she did to take care of us and protect us, but when I got older I realized how much of a hero she really was. She never lost faith. She never gave up on her children. She was always so great to us and her grandkids. I’m not going to talk about grief because all want to do is celebrate how she lived. Thank you for always believing in me even when I was such a bad son sometimes. Wish I could’ve told you more how much you mean to me. Finally rest, mom. You’ve earned it.
