Today is Fathersday in 🇺🇸
This is my American dad,
William ‘Bill’ McDonald.
A man who made me feel at home in his family when I was 15.
“First day you’re a guest, next day you’re family”, that’s what he said.
For the next 10 years, he and Jenny (my American mom), made me feel part of their life, their family.
This year I saw them back after 27 years.
And the bond we had was and is still there.
Even more so…
They took my wife and daughter into their arms and made them feel like family.
I cherish, love and admire this man.
I am so fortunate to have a man like him who loves me & my family as a real dad and granddad.
