On June 30th, we invite our local community of artists, writers, musicians, and scholars to participate in a special gathering in honor of Tamir Rice on the occasion of his birthday (June 25). As we celebrate the ongoing activism of Tamir’s mother, Samaria Rice, we make space for you to share your recent creative and intellectual work related to themes of social injustice or state-sanctioned violence.
All are welcome, as participants or as audience members. The program will conclude with a musical performance and a light reception in honor of Tamir.
