‘Weird Al’ Yankovic Instagram – I was tired of being virtually blind without my glasses, so on Jan. 23, 1998, I got LASIK eye surgery. I was scheduled to do the operation in a normal (private) way, but then I was informed by my doctor that he would perform the operation for free if I was willing to let a local TV station broadcast it LIVE on the air.
