Yasir Qadhi Instagram – There is no doubt that the rulings of ‘iddah (waiting period between marriage) are a very important aspect of the Shari’ah, and all Muslims should abide by and honor those rulings.
However, when it appears that some entities unjustly use those legitimate rulings for illegitimate purposes, and make a mockery of the religion of Allah for political reasons, we must speak out and teach the people the truth.
