Is this the world I live in where this happens around me ALL THE TIME?? and humans are the reason of why this happens! For your protein intake, a life is taken!! Just imagine if this was you and there was a human being slaughtered in front of you while you wait for your turn!
Before any debate, I’m against all kinds of animal cruelty and it all starts from here. Be it for pleasure or in the name of God in any religion, I am totally against it. I firmly believe God gave us brains to protect animals and not to take their lives in our hands. Let it be upto God of when to take their lives.
Pretty sure someone is going to come at me with the nonsensical food chain theory, kindly do your research and just check what over consumption of meat is doing to animals. Torturing them for generating more and more animals for human consumption.
Growing up vegetarian in a vegetarian household, it was purely because of the empathy, love and a soulful connection towards animals that I felt and I used to think everyone did but turns out, NO. Most people around me till date are consuming animals, I was too afraid to speak up back then thinking I might not fit in but honestly this is where my gut calls me out and I need to be the voice for the voiceless.
