Alexz Johnson Instagram – As I wrap up 20 shows in 28 days, I’m feeling equally exhausted and energized, with an immense feeling of gratitude and joy. I was blessed to be accompanied by talented and kind musicians, as we navigated our way across the US. We played some beautiful venues, and met so many wonderful souls who have found themselves in the same bizarre world of music and creativity that we keep trying to survive and make a living within. I had the privilege of meeting hundreds of my fans this past month, and hearing their stories of how my music has helped them through their lives was a constant reminder of how blessed I am to have the privilege to continue doing this with my life. As hard as it can be doing this all from such an independent platform, I wouldn’t trade it for anything, because of the feeling I carry with me right now, and the stories of perseverance I can pass on to my children. This must be what it feels like to climb Mount Everest and back.
