Alie Ward Instagram – Not JUST a lady blinking, a weird little critter & a handsome. Today was a big one in the Sleeper-Ward house, as @jarrett_sleeper — after two decades of practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu — got his black belt. Jiu jitsu to Mr. Sleeper is like a dog park for an Australian shepherd that lives in a condo. It calms him, and he’s really really fucking good at it. This guy went through quarantine without being able to roll, tore his ACL 3 years ago, spent so much time away from the mat to keep my dad safe from covid and care for him, and get strong again after not be able to practice. So today is a big one and I’m just so proud of him I can’t even handle it. Congrats to my dear @jarrett_sleeper and thank you for the daily inspiration to kick ass through gentle arts. I got him that Crocs charm months ago and hid it like an engagement ring for today.
