Even though I’ve shot multiple projects, the whole reason I say this is because I am an Actress who wants to work. When I’m not booking work, I’m actively making my own. . .
I finally started embracing the fact that Ok, Ok.. I AM a FILMMAKER… And the funny thing is — this when I am being nominated & recognized as “Best Actress.” 🙏🏼🥹
It really means SOOO much to be recognized in this way because it’s the main reason I chose to create in the first place.

Theres SO MUCH rejection in this industry and with the threats of AI taking away more jobs, it can feel especially impossible at times to continue… It’s nice to feel seen and to be recognized for the hard work that goes into this craft and art-form that I hope can outlast the current fads and trends… If you can, please support festivals, indie artists and performers.
